Irkalla: Gate to the Depths of Oblivion
A masterpiece from the "Messenger from Darkness" edition – where history meets eternity.
We present the Irkalla knife, named after the ancient Sumerian term for "The Great Land Underworld". Where there is no return, silence and dust reign – and it is from these depths that this unique tool seems to have been forged. Irkalla is not just a knife; it is a key to secrets that have been hidden beneath the earth for millennia. It is the embodiment of dark elegance and uncompromising power.
Exclusive Materials from the Depths of Time:
Hand-forged carbon Damascus with nickel lines: The blade is the result of precise blacksmithing. Contrasting nickel lines cut through the dark layers of carbon Damascus like lightning in a night sky over the underworld. This material not only offers fascinating visual depth but also aggressive cutting ability and toughness that even the most demanding users will appreciate.
Mokume Gane guard (copper and silver): The guard, crafted using the Mokume Gane technique, combines copper and silver in organic patterns reminiscent of tree rings or swirling stardust. It is a metallic tribute to ancient art that gives the knife a stamp of absolute exclusivity.
Handle made of bog oak and mammoth tusk: The base of the handle is made of stabilized bog oak, a material that lay for hundreds of years without air access in bogs, thus acquiring its unmistakable black color and density. It is decorated with carvings and complemented by rare giraffe bone along with a stabilized fragment of mammoth tusk. The tang cap, made of Sika deer antler, completes this ensemble like a crown born from the wild.
Cattle hide and ostrich leather sheath – The pinnacle of luxury: This relic is protected in a hand-stitched sheath made of premium cattle hide, complemented by exclusive ostrich leather. The specific texture of ostrich leather with its characteristic "pearls" gives the set an unmistakable visual style and underscores the high collectible value of this unique piece.
An Investment in Art and History
As with all models from the Dachs Knives workshop, Irkalla represents an exceptional investment opportunity. The combination of precious metals, rare fossils (mammoth, bog oak), and hand-forged Damascus guarantees that the value of this knife will grow over time. You thus own a piece of history that becomes a lasting preserver of value.
Enter the realm of Irkalla. Master a knife that carries the weight of ages and the splendor of forgotten empires.
