The heart of this knife is its blade, made using the unique CU MAI sandwich method from stainless damascus with exceptional Japanese VG10 steel in the middle . This top-quality steel, hardened to a hardness of 60 HRC , guarantees incredible sharpness, long-lasting cutting ability and easy maintenance. Every cut will be precise and effortless.
The handle is a true work of art and the pride of this knife. It is made of beautifully structured stabilized Karelian birch , which ensures not only an ergonomic and firm grip, but also an unmistakable visual impression. The most unique feature, however, is a fragment of a subfossil stabilized Mammoth molar , which is elegantly incorporated into the handle. This ancient material gives the knife a unique character and a sense of connection with ancient history.
The Japanese characters on the blade, TANUKI SAKU – Badger made , refer to a traditional craft seal, while my classic DACHS mark is discreetly placed on the opposite side of the blade.
