It all started with a wooden knife
My love for knives and swords has been with me since childhood. I made my first blade – a wooden “Rambo knife” – under the supervision of my father in his workshop. I hid it as a keepsake for many years until my daughter discovered it… and her antics definitely ended its era.
As a teenager, I fell in love with the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles series and films like American Ninja. This fascination led to a deeper interest in Japanese culture, samurai, and their weapons. This influence continues to this day and I bring it to my work, striving to ensure that each of my knives exudes simplicity, practicality, and elegance inspired by Japan.
I had the honor of participating in the Tamashigiri World Chopping Championship in Tokyo, from where I brought back two silver medals. Today I am engaged in custom and small-scale production of knives and swords from various materials. Each piece is created with attention to detail and respect for the customer's wishes - so that their new knife is not only a tool, but also a personal artifact.
In addition to production, I also restore original Japanese swords and create damask swords inspired by Viking patterns. Each project is a unique opportunity to take my work one step further.
